Costume Puppet Design and Performance

In this workshop, which has been presented at numerous puppetry festivals, participants will learn how a full-body costume puppet character is created, starting with designs and materials and progressing through the construction of each key part of the costume.  The presentation can either cover general concepts or be focused on a specific type of character, such as traditional mascot, quadruped, or overhead manipulation.
