This is stage I custom built to use for my staged half-hour shows back in the mid-2000s, but it proved to be a little too complicated for solo performance use. It might be fine for you, though, if you have a couple of people to help you set up and break down your shows when traveling. It could also be a great practice stage that you keep assembled in a basement or workroom at home. If you're handy with tools, it would be easy to replace a few of the PVC pipes to raise or lower the stage height, or make other adjustments as desired.
Stage is built from 3/4" PVC pipe supported by the travel trunk. All parts (PVC, shelves, and curtains) fit into the trunk for transport, except the two long side poles and the long pole at the top of the backdrop area. For stability reasons, I didn't feel comfortable cutting those poles down into smaller pieces.
Asking for a $50 donation to the Atlanta Puppetry Guild
Contact Kevin Pittman via the APG mailing list email or via my Contact Form if interested (if you use the form, just put in your name and email address, and put in your request under "Additional Details / Special Request / Questions" and submit). Must be picked up somewhere within the north metro Atlanta area (too bulky to ship IMHO.)
